The original recipe design skills they have applied to developing the Rowie's Cakes product, ensure that 60% of the public who are actively conscious of their food intake are catered for, and the remaining 40% of the population will also delight in the delicious morsels on offer.
Rowie's unique offerings are perfect for catering to this health conscious but uncompromising market. And while our cakes may be wheat, yeast, dairy and gluten free they are more delicious than most popular cakes and can be offered to the mainstream as well as coeliac and gluten intolerant customers.

There are two main reasons people are driven to experiment, invent or discover and those are curiosity or need.
For Rowena both these reasons came into play. But mostly need. Rowie herself is gluten intolerant. Something she didn't discover until her adult years.
For years Rowie struggled with picking up a snack, having some lunch or eating out. She couldn't actually work out what was wrong with her until she went through a diet elimination process. ";I discovered then about gluten intolerance. About the way I felt after consuming wheat and yeast. Bloated. Tired. Always the 3pm wearies after a sandwich at lunch ... let alone the odd bowl of pasta ".
Finally, she decided to do something about it.
As an experimental cook Rowie investigated more proficient ways of dealing with her body's digestive intolerances. "I had never been an avid dessert fan - but I was given the task of Christmas dessert. I opted to pass the pud and in doing so created Rowie's Orange and Almond Cake. An instant hit and not just for the non-yeastie, wheaties either ".
Hence, her idea. "I wanted to go straight to the bigger picture. Straight to getting it right." Within months she had created Rowie's Cakes - A kitchen that bakes wheat, yeast and gluten free. But more than just that Rowie wanted to focus on a gourmet range of products. And thus she has created a refreshingly indulgent range that taste so wicked you won't believe they're good for you.
Since 2001 Rowie and her team of staff and suppliers have bumped the bland out of the allergy free category by manufacturing wholesale cakes for the cafe, deli and foodservice market.
In 2007 Rowie's Cakes commenced supplying their universally free Rowie's Eat Me range for in-flight catering throughout Australia.
Now, after twelve months of planning and testing; Rowie Dillon has launched a dry mix range in Woolworths Supermarkets. This is the commencement of bringing great tasting allergy food into your pantry. One in three children suffer food intolerances. One in five adults also suffer food intolerances.
